Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a Caregiver / Home Health Aide in the Dallas area with flexible scheduling and weekly pay. Join a team that truly values compassionate, high‑quality care.

You will provide personalized in‑home care, assist with daily living activities, help with mobility, transportation, and reporting changes to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements include CNA certification, 2–3 years of experience, CPR, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized in-home care tailored to each client.

• Support mobility per care plan and report changes to Nursing Director.
• Document care and communicate with family as needed.

Schedule

Monday through Friday:

• Day shift: 7am-7pm


• Night Shift: 7pm-7am


• CNAs will always be paired—you will not be working alone

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care tailored to each client’s needs


• Assist with activities of daily living, including:
  
  
  
  • Meal preparation and feeding
  
  
  • Light housekeeping and linen changes
  
  
  • Transportation to appointments and errands
  
  
  • Outdoor activities and shopping
  
  


• Support client mobility (active and passive exercises) per care plan


• Observe and report changes in condition to the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Must be CNA certified


• 2–3 years of experience required


• Must provide a resume with relevant experience


• Experience with total care patients and Hoyer lift required


• Must be reliable, a team player, and committed


• High school diploma or GED


• Current CPR certification


• Negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray)


• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, etc.)
