Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care tailored to each client’s needs
- Assist with activities of daily living, including:
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Light housekeeping and linen changes
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Outdoor activities and shopping
- Assist with client mobility, including active and passive exercises, according to the care plan
- Provide total care and safe transfers as needed
- Properly operate and utilize a Hoyer lift
- Observe and report changes in condition to the Director of Nursing
Requirements
- Must be CNA certified
- Hoyer lift experience is required
- Experience providing total care is required
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required
- Must provide a resume with relevant experience
- Must be reliable, a team player, and committed to providing quality care
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and transferring clients
