Job summary

BrightStar Care of North Sarasota is seeking a compassionate HHA/CNA to support clients in their homes. You will perform personal care tasks, monitor health indicators, and assist with daily living activities under supervision.

We offer flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings, with options for short and long shifts. Weekly pay with direct deposit and mobile time tracking streamline your work life.

Qualifications

• Current, valid state certification and in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
• Current CPR and TB test or chest X-ray.
• Minimum one year health care experience preferred.
• Licensed driver with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, vital signs, and weight measurements.
• Assisting with daily tasks per patient plan of care, including feeding, meal prep, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and activities.

Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary.
• Providing care according to the patient’s plan of care, assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.

Requirements

• Current, valid state certification and in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
• CurrentCPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred.
• Licensed driver with the insured and reliable automobile.
