Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a Caregiver / Home Health Aide in Dallas to provide compassionate in-home care with flexible scheduling and weekly pay. You will work with clients to assist with daily living activities, mobility, and transportation, under RN oversight and with scheduling tools.

Responsibilities include personalized care, supporting mobility, and reporting changes to the Director of Nursing. Meet-and-greet with the family is required.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified.
• 2–3 years of experience required.
• Must provide a resume with relevant experience.
• Experience with total care patients and Hoyer lift required.
• Must be reliable, a team player, and committed.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care tailored to each client’s needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living: meal preparation and feeding, light housekeeping and linen changes, transportation to appointments and errands.
• Support client mobility (active and passive exercises) per care plan.
• Observe and report changes in condition to the Director of Nursing.

Schedule

Monday through Friday:

• Day shift: 7am-7pm
• Night Shift: 7pm-7am
• CNAs will always be paired—you will not be working alone
