Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under supervision, including activities of daily living and safety monitoring. The role involves working in a hospital setting, observing patients, and supporting RN staff.

Requirements include Alaska CNA license, BLS certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Training in Crisis Prevention and Suicide Observation may be required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Preferred: prior hospital setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Observes patients for safety concerns and reports changes to the RN.
• Records and reports information within scope of knowledge.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility using safe techniques.
• Transports patients and equipment as needed; assists with environment safety.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of equipment and charting in the EHR.
