Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a CNA to provide basic patient care under supervision, including activities of daily living and safety monitoring. The role requires Alaska CNA license and completion of required trainings within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current State of Alaska Nurse’s Aide license.
• Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention within 60 days of hire.
• Suicide Observation training within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care to all patients including those in isolation.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote comfort and safety.
• Monitor and report patient status to RN and document findings in EHR.
• Observe for suicide risk and maintain patient safety under isolation precautions.
• Assist with transfers, hygiene, feeding, vitals, and routine clinical procedures.
