Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) invites applications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in pediatric inpatient care at ANMC. Under supervision, you will provide basic patient care, assist with daily living activities and contribute to patient comfort and safety in a busy hospital setting.

Experience levels vary by designation (CNA I/II/III). Candidates must hold a current Alaska Nurse's Aide license and BLS, with readiness to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Alaska Nurse’s Aide license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention and Suicide Observation training within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Observes patients with safety concerns and reports changes to the RN.
• Provides basic care including hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Obtains and records vital signs and documents in the EHR.
• Assists with mobility, transfers, and safe handling of equipment.
• Collaborates with the care team to promote patient safety.
