Job summary

ANTHC in Anchorage is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under supervision and support for the nursing team. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help ensure patient safety and comfort within the clinical environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, Alaska Nurse’s Aide license, BLS, and up to four years of CNA experience. Hospital experience and completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention and Suicide Observation training

Qualifications

• Basic patient care under supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support nursing staff with transports, specimens, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients and report changes to RN.
• Ensure patient safety under isolation precautions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and environment.
• Assist with oral hygiene, feeding, mobility, and daily living activities.
