Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is seeking Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for the Colorado State Veterans Community Living Center at Rifle. The role involves hands-on resident care, safety monitoring, and documentation in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide basic hands-on resident care in a safe environment (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility, transfers, toileting, charting).
• Support nursing staff in resident safety, mobility, and use of assistive devices.
• Communicate findings to RNs/LPNs and maintain a therapeutic milieu; assist with transports and shift handoffs.
