Job summary

Tuckerman Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Rockville, MD is seeking a CNA-1 for part-time and PRN shifts. You will support residents with ADLs, assist the nursing team, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment focused on dignity and quality care.

We offer competitive hourly wages ($19-$25), shift differentials, and benefits including tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and EAP resources.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed staff.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Part-Time and PRN/Per Diem Opportunities Available:

Day - 7am - 3pm PRN and Part-time

Evening - 3pm - 11pm PRN

Night - 11pm - 7am PRN

$19-$25/hour (all-inclusive)

Responsibilities for CNA-1:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNA-1:

• Must hold an active CNA-1 (formerly GNA) certification in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and commitment to providing quality resident care.
