Job summary

Bay Harbor Post Acute and Healthcare Center in Salisbury, MD is hiring a CNA-I (formerly GNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents. Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualities include active CNA‑I and CNA‑II certifications in the state, BLS/CPR, and strong communication. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, health/dental, 401(k), and shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

SHIFTS: 7:00AM - 3:00PM, 3:00PM - 11:00PM, Or 11:00PM - 7:00AM

Hourly Range: $18.50 – $25.75/hr (Based on Experience & Incentives) ALL INCLUSIVE

No Frills Program For Full-Time Employees: If you opt for no benefits (no vacation, sick time, personal days, or holidays), you’ll earn an additional $3/hour on top of your base pay.

Shift Differentials ($1.50 For 3pm -11pm & $1.00 For 11pm - 7am)

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity, safety, and well‑being.
• Support the nursing team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNA-I:

• Must hold an active CNA‑I (formerly GNA) and CNA‑II certification in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and commitment to providing quality resident care.
