Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.
• GED or HSED or High School Diploma.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activities and ambulation.
• Document in EMR and participate in admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Answer call lights promptly and maintain patient safety.
• Assist with transfers and positioning using proper technique and devices.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and use of PPE.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
