Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in our Illinois facility. You will assist the RN with daily patient activities, monitor vital signs, and help with admissions, transfers and discharges under supervision.

CNA certification and BLS are required, as well as a GED or high school diploma. The role includes weekend coverage, 24 hours per week, and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, hygiene, mobility and monitoring.
• Measures vital signs and documents in EMR.
• Completes rounds and communicates patient observations to RN.
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision.
• Collects specimens and contributes to patient testing and labeling.
