Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support daily patient care in the Surgical Care Pavilion. You will assist with routine activities, measurements, and EMR documentation under RN supervision, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires BLS within 45 days and current Nurse Aide registration. No weekends; 48 hours in a 6-week frame. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Perform rounding and patient positioning tasks under RN direction.
• Support nutrition and skin care as directed by RN.
• Collect specimens and document in EMR as required.
• Communicate observations to the RN and health care team.
