The Minnesota Veterans Home in Preston seeks two intermittent Certified Nursing Assistants- Human Services Technicians to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a long-term nursing facility. Responsibilities include ADLs support, ensuring safety and quality of care, and promoting residents’ highest functional abilities with dignity.
Shifts vary: Day, Evening, Night; intermittent schedule with weekend work. May require background checks and health screenings per policy.
Competenze
- Current MDH Nursing Assistant Registry registration or by date of hire.
- Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
- Experience providing activities of daily living (ADLs).
Mansioni
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a long-term nursing facility.
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure safety and quality of care.
- Support residents to attain highest functional capabilities with respect and dignity.
- Follow care plans and document observations accurately.
