Job summary

Lake Seminole Square in Charlotte, NC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Home Care assignments on our Independent Living campus. We offer full-time day shifts, PRN shifts, and weekend rotation with competitive pay and an optional daily pay option.

You will provide 1:1 personal care, assist with ADLs, transportation, medication reminders, and companionship while supporting independent living. A NC CNA certification, First Aid/CPR, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA certification or working towards one.
• First Aid/CPR Certified.
• One year experience as CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred but not required.
• Need to have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care in resident homes located on campus.
• Promote independent living activities and provide quality assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with ADLs, dressing/bathing, meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Assist with transportation, transfers or ambulation as resident’s condition warrants.
• Assist members with making appointments as requested.
• Provide reminders to take medication.
• Facilitate exercise programs and encourage member to participate in campus activities.
• Offer companionship for off campus excursions/appointments/shopping.
• Observe and report changes in behavior/appearance to the RN immediately.
• Performance of assigned tasks in emergency situations including fire, electrical and disasters.
• Provide a compliant calendar of availability to the scheduling department by the 15th of every month containing all required elements to maintain PRN status.

Skills

Position: Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) – Home Care

Openings:

• Full-Time - CNA
  • 8am - 4pm with rotating weekends.
  • 8am - 8pm with rotating weekends.
  • Must be willing to drive the members.
• PRN - All Shifts (6-10 Hour Shifts; detailed at the bottom of this post):
  • The schedule will depend on your availability in addition to the company’s.
  • Must meet PRN requirements: work 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays monthly; work 8 total shifts monthly; must work either Thanksgiving OR Christmas and Christmas Eve or Black Friday.

Pay:

• CNA PRN Pay range: $17.00 - $19.13 per hour depending on experience.
• CNA AIL and Full-time CNA range: $17.50 - $19.70 per hour depending on experience.

Position Summary: Provide personalized, one-on-one care to residents in campus homes, assisting with activities of daily living, medication reminders, transportation, and companionship to support independence and well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care in residenthomes locatedon campus.
