Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Acton, MA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver high-quality daily care for residents in a warm, home-like setting.

As a CNA, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and provide emotional support, while working per diem shifts including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
