Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will deliver resident care in a warm, home-like environment, covering per diem shifts with one weekend per month.

Shifts are per diem across all hours with an hourly rate of $19–$20.25. Valid CNA/HHA license is required; prior skilled nursing or dementia experience is preferred but not mandatory. We offer benefits, training, and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA license required.
• Prior nursing home or assisted living experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Document and report health or behavior changes to staff.
• Provide emotional support and meaningful activities.
• Apply strong customer service to ensure quality care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Schedule: per diem, all shifts, one weekend shift per month

Hourly rate: $19/hr - $20.25/hr

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
