Job summary

CareGivers America is seeking compassionate caregivers to support children in their homes in Carbon County, PA. Training will be provided to become a Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA, with a current opening of 16 hours per week in Albrightsville.

No experience is required; you will receive paid training and certifications, with flexible schedules and benefits included.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene and meals.
• Support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs).
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities to promote skill development.
• Maintain a safe, consistent environment and reinforce positive behavior.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in‑home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age‑appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
