Job summary

CareGivers America in Scranton, PA is hiring a Pediatric Caregiver to provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in their homes. No experience needed — paid training will prepare you for a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) path.

You’ll help with daily living skills, hygiene, meals, and routine care; assist with IEPs and BIPs; and lead age-appropriate activities while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Local travel to clients' homes is required.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred
• Willingness to work in Carbondale, Covington Township, Archbald, Scranton, Factoryville or Lackawanna County
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' home

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support IEPs and BIPs
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a safe environment
• Frequent standing/walking, assist daily activities and occasional lifting
