Advocate Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Nurse Aide to assist registered nurses with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility and safety.

You will document vital signs in the EMR, participate in admissions and transfers, and help maintain patient comfort and infection control according to hospital policies. This position requires a High School diploma or GED, BLS within 45 days, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Measure and document vitals and input/output in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admissions, transfers and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and prepare for testing as directed.
• Transport and reposition patients safely and maintain equipment.
• Ensure infection prevention practices and use of PPE.
