Job summary

Ripley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic nursing assistance under supervision and support residents with daily living activities. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork within a long-term care setting.

Qualifications include a CNA certification in the state of employment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and about six months of prior long-term care experience.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists residents with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distances within the facility.
• Records vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
