Job summary

Bend of Cascadia LLC is seeking a compassionate CNA I for a full-time overnight shift in Bend, Oregon. Join our 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility to provide daily living support and vigilant resident care.

You will document vitals, assist with mobility and meals, and communicate changes to the nursing team, all while upholding dignity and safety for residents preparing for the next stage of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Oregon CNA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support mobility, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Take and document vital signs, intake/output.
• Assist during meals and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families and staff.

We’re a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in beautiful Bend, Oregon. We provide compassionate transitional and post-hospital care to help our residents regain their strength, independence, and confidence as they work toward returning home or transitioning to their next stage of care. We’re looking for a caring, dependable, and team-oriented Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA I) to join our nursing team. Schedule:

Overnight Shift 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene


• Assisting residents with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises


• Taking and documenting vital signs, food and fluid intake, and output as directed


• Assisting residents during meals and supporting their nutritional needs


• Observing residents and promptly communicating changes in condition to the nursing team


• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation


• Building positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members


• Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional resident care

Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licenses/Certification:

• Valid certification as a CNA in Oregon


• Valid CPR certificate

Experience:

• Six months experience in a long term-care environment (preferred but not required)
