Job summary

Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest provides LTACH and ARU care for chronically and critically ill patients, with 24/7 clinical support. We seek a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in daily patient care and help with daily living activities.

The role requires fluency in English, good attendance, and proper certification (Nursing Assistant and BLS). Six months’ experience in acute or long-term care preferred. On-site position with a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care facility.
• Ability to perform general nursing assistant duties and basic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing staff in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Performs routine tasks under RN supervision, including measurements and record-keeping.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and functional patient environment.
