Job summary

The Village at East Farms, part of Benchmark Senior Living, is hiring a full-time CNA for the 2nd shift to join our caring team in Waterbury, Connecticut.

You will deliver hands-on care in a warm, home-like environment, support daily living activities, and document care while communicating changes to the care team to ensure quality resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes in health or behavior to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license required
