Job summary

Masonic Homes Kentucky is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time placement at Sam Swope Care Center on the Louisville Campus. You will provide hands-on care including ADLs, mobility support, and daily resident well-being in a supportive team setting.

You will observe health changes, document vitals, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure high-quality care while maintaining safety and compassion for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky CNA certification (active and in good standing).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to resident-centered care.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health to licensed nurses.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being with compassion and consistency.
• Transport, lift and reposition residents safely using appropriate techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment and assist with infection control protocols.
