Job summary

Westminster Oaks is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Florida to provide routine daily nursing care under supervision. The role emphasizes preserving residents’ dignity, high-quality customer service, and adherence to federal and state regulations.

Walk-ins before 2pm and completed applications are requested. Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, hygiene, meals, vital signs, and infection control, with documentation in the CNA ECS flow-sheet.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting).
• Ensure beds are made and maintain room hygiene.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Take vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly and accurately.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure safety and equipment function.
• Prevent skin issues with timely incontinent care and repositioning.

Preserves residents’ dignity, honors resident’s rights, provides good customer service, communicates appropriately, and adheres to federal and state compliance regulations. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of Florida. One year of long term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults. Must be CPR Certified.
