Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and supporting independence within the community.

You will follow policies, report incidents, assist with activities, perform light housekeeping, and respond to calls and emergencies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Encourage independence and participation in community activities.
• Report incidents and complete documentation.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Assist in activity planning and resident move-in transitions.
