Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, part of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA to support patients in Southwest Florida in a Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule, covering Sarasota/Venice area. The role requires Florida CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and 1–3 years of experience, with a preference for long-term care background.

Tidewell Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work with us in Southwest Florida while providing exceptional care on the following schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; Sarasota/Venice coverage area. Since 1980, Tidewell Hospice has proudly served families across southwest Florida with compassionate, dignified care. What you’ll Do

Supports and carries out the organization’s mission, vision, and values on a consistent basis. Performs only those personal care/home maintenance activities contained in a written assignment (Hospice Aide Plan of Care) by a health professional employee. Recognizes and reports unusual conditions, incidents or behavior of a patient and/or patient/family interaction to the patient’s nurse or supervisory nurse. Recognizes the role of the Hospice Aide and works within that scope of practice at all times. Maintains utmost respect for confidentiality in care of the patient/family.
