Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring CNA to join our Southwest Florida team in the Sarasota/Venice coverage area. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., serving patients in our hospice program.

You will perform personal care tasks under the plan of care, report changes to the nurse, and protect patient confidentiality as part of our Full Life Care philosophy.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License.
• 1–3 years of training and/or experience; LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care/home maintenance activities per the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions or behavior to the patient’s nurse or supervisor.
• Maintains confidentiality in care of the patient/family.
