Job summary

Bartow is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident's assessment and care plan. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, document notes, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

You will follow policies, report changes, and cooperate with staff to ensure high-quality care. CPR may be preferred and licensure must meet state requirements. This role emphasizes compassion, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant per state laws; CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and daily activities.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident room readiness and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, transport, and positioning of residents.
• Protect resident privacy and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Participate in nursing shift reporting and handoffs.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials.
