Job summary

Boca Raton Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care for residents in accordance with care plans and supervisor guidance. You will identify residents, document care, and maintain a calm, supportive environment on your unit.

The role emphasizes patient safety, confidentiality, and strict adherence to policies on exposure to blood and body fluids, with opportunities to assist in various daily living tasks and care activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws; CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and to write reports and manuals; ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plans and as directed by supervision.
• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood and body fluids and maintain safe practice.
