Golden Heart Senior Care Des Moines (IA) is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical home care and companionship in clients’ homes in the Des Moines area. Positions are offered as full or part-time on a shift basis, with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Caregivers assist with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and maintaining client comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required for all roles).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, reliable, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs).
• Meal preparation, housekeeping, and home management tasks.
• Transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Medication reminders (online training on systems provided).
• Documentation of services provided.
• Encouraging independence and supporting client goals.
• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout shifts.

Location: Des Moines area (Paid Drive Time)

Full or Part-time | Group Home & Community-Based Care for higher functioning clients

CNAs Providing Direct Care and working alongside other Support Staff in the home for clients with disabilities (intellectual or behavioral) for our 24hr clients, they need CNA staff or someone with a higher level of experience that includes bathing assistance

We are seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to work either an 8hr shift or 2.5-4hr shifts (paid drive time), providing consistent, high-quality care in a home-like setting. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed. Talk with the interviewer about what credentials you have and hours you are available to work.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
