Golden Heart Senior Care in Des Moines, IA is seeking an evening Med Manager or CMA to support staff by reviewing MAR punches and ensuring accurate documentation. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts when needed and a compassionate, dependable attitude to provide high-quality in-home care in a home-like setting.

Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour with benefits including paid time off, vision and dental insurance, 401(k) and matching, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medication Manager or CMA or higher.
• Experience with bathing assistance, dressing, cleaning, & grooming.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and continue your education through online training (paid on the job).
• Ability to perform physical job duties as needed per the individuals needs.
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs).
• Meal preparation, housekeeping, and home management tasks.
• Transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Medication reminders (online training on systems provided).
• Documentation of services provided and ensuring staff document correctly at reminder time.
• Encouraging independence and supporting client goals.

Flexible Scheduling

3 to 4 Shifts per week on-call | 3:45pm-9:45pm (Monday-Thursday & Friday-Sunday) rotating with another co-worker

About The Role

This Med Manager or CMA will be working in the evening to call and check-in on staff to discuss with them that they are completing their MAR punches appropriately for the clients they are working with. Being willing and ready to cover a shift during the evening if there is a call-off. We are seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to work, providing consistent, high-quality care in a home-like setting.
