Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Roanoke, VA is seeking a CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care and assistance with daily living activities for residents. You will support residents to maintain independence, participate in activities, and ensure a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, reporting incidents, housekeeping, responding to calls, and helping with meals and activities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to safely lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and document care concerns to RN/LPN or appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain resident rooms and common areas.
• Support residents with meals, activities, and transitions (move-in, outings).
• Follow confidentiality policies and participate in in-services and staff meetings.
