Harmony Senior Services in Elkhart, Indiana is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with daily living activities and encourage independence. You will support meal times, mobility, and meaningful activity participation while ensuring safety and dignity.

You will follow all care plans and report changes promptly, document properly, and collaborate with the nursing team. A current Indiana CNA license and ability to lift residents are required, with weekend and holiday

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Reports incidents involving residents to include care concerns or issues to appropriate individuals and completes documentation.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to all resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Checks on residents, ensures attendance at meals and activities.
• Communicate status and information to the team and families as directed.
