Harmony Senior Services seeks a dedicated CNA/Direct Care Giver in Avon, Indiana. You will assist residents with daily living, support activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment across living spaces.

Responsibilities include documenting care, responding to calls, and coordinating with the nursing team. A valid Indiana CNA license and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days are required. Weekend and holiday availability preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Effective verbal and written communication is required.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; push or carry 25 lbs.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Report incidents and document care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Support residents during meals, activities, and transitions between areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and communicate updates as required.
