Job summary

Cedarfield in Virginia, operated by Pinnacle Living, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the day shift team. The role supports licensed staff in daily resident care and safety, promoting independence and quality of life for residents.

Expect a full-time position with weekend rotation and a 7am–3pm schedule. CPR/AED certification is required, and Virginia CNA credentials must be held. Training and benefits are provided according to policy.

Qualifications

Graduate from an approved Nursing Assistant Program.
Credentialed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Virginia.
CPR/AED certification required.
2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, nourishment and fluids, skin care, turning and positioning.
Assist residents with dining and eating as needed.
Support life enrichment programming per individualized service plan.
Monitor residents and report changes to nurse in charge.
Assist with bed mobility and transfers per plan of care.
Change bed linens and document care provided in medical records.
Respond to call lights within guidelines.
Encourage participation in social events and activities.
Provide emotional support, safety, and comfort to residents.
