Job summary

Cedarfield is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift to support residents with daily living tasks and independence.

The role requires completion of an approved CNA program, Virginia CNA licensure, CPR/AED certification, and is based in Richmond, VA. This full-time position runs 10:45pm–7:15am with every-other-weekend requirements, emphasizing resident safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Nursing Assistant Program.
• Credentialed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Virginia.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Assist residents with dining and eating as needed.
• Engage residents in life enrichment activities per individualized plan.
• Observe changes and report to nurse for plan revisions.
• Assist residents with mobility and bathroom needs.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Document care in medical records and respond to call lights.
