Job summary

Pinnacle Living’s Cedarfield is seeking a Part Time RN to promote and maintain nursing services for residents, covering two shifts: 6:45a-3:15p and 2:45p-11:15p, totaling 32 hours weekly. You will supervise CNAs, administer medications, follow physician orders, and ensure safety and quality of life for residents, with responsibilities across rounds, care plans, and documentation.

Virginia RN license, CPR/AED certification, and 2+ years of nursing experience required; Relias training offered;

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or degree.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• CPR/AED certification.
• 2+ years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the total nursing services of assigned residents.
• Receives report from off-going shift and gives report to oncoming shift and make rounds.
• Receives physician orders and carries out orders according to established policies and procedures.
• Makes shift rounds with physicians.
• Maintains residents’ clinical records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Administers medications in accordance with regulations and established policy and procedures.
• Implements established resident care policies and procedures.
• Assists nursing assistants with residents’ care, as necessary including bathing and eating assistance.
