Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care during day shifts in a long-term care setting. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health indicators, and assist with mobility under RN supervision.

The role requires CNA certification in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain it within four months, with a bi-weekly 64-hour schedule and occasional evening/weekend variations. Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with Minnesota state board or in process within 4 months.
• Maintains yearly continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and monitor health changes.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility.
• Assist with meals and dining to create a positive experience.
• Communicate changes to the charge nurse and document care.
