Mount Joseph at Waterville is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Waterville, ME. You will support residents with daily living activities, assist with mobility and transfers, and provide restorative care to promote wellbeing.

The role offers a 5:45a - 6:15p shift, generous shift and weekend differentials, a $3,500 sign-on bonus, paid time off starting at 2 weeks per year, and room for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid certification.
• Must have a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Must be able to lift, transfer, and reposition residents according to established safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Elders with daily living functions such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care and shaving.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
• Provide daily Range of Motion Exercises.
• Answer resident calls promptly.
• Follow established safety precautions in the performance of all duties (exposure to body fluids, lifting, transferring, use and disposal of PPE).
• Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., gait belt, mechanical lifts) when lifting or moving residents per plan of care.
