Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the State of Illinois
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation
• Ability to work assigned shifts and rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and daily routines
• Monitor and document vital signs as directed by nursing staff
• Observe and promptly report changes in residents' health, behavior, or condition
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident care
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to ensure quality, resident-centered care
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and overall well-being

About the Role

High Point Residence Crete is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivatedCertified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team!

In this role, you will provide hands-on, resident-centered care while helping create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for those we serve.

You will work closely with our nursing and care teams to support residents with their daily needs, promote independence, and enhance the overall quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the State of Illinois

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living, supportive living, memory care, or long-term care
