Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. invites a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Kosciusko, Mississippi. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, meals, and patient comfort, while maintaining dignity and privacy in a professional healthcare setting.

You’ll support the nursing staff, follow infection control protocols, and ensure accurate documentation. Competitive pay ($20.50/hour, W-2) and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• MS license/certification for CNA is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience.
• Primary Source Verification (PSV) from licensing board may be required.
• Current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test) must be on file.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ condition.
• Keep patient rooms clean, stocked, and organized.
• Document care per facility policy.
• Support nurses with routine care and tasks within scope.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Help patients with mobility, positioning, transfers, and ambulation.

• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.

• Assist patients with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed.

• Maintain patient comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy at all times.

• Observe and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition.

• Keep patient rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked.

• Document care provided according to facility policies.

• Support nurses with routine patient care and clinical tasks within scope of practice.

• Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and healthcare regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted MS license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CNA.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,…)
