Job summary

Liberty Cares in Canton, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and other ADLs under supervision.

Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be listed in the DFS registry, and be willing to care for geriatric residents and follow orders. Training reimbursement is available; background checks apply. EOE.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADLs during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including I and O.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
