Job summary

Liberty Health Canton, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for geriatric residents in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with bathing, dressing and daily living activities, maintaining accurate care records, and supporting the charge nurse. A new CNA training program reimbursement is available, and must be listed in DFS registry.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA must be listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and ADLs.
• Assist with oral hygiene and denture care as needed.
• Complete patient care records including I & O at end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments.
