Job summary

Park Place Transitional Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine care under the supervision of nursing leadership. You will ensure residents receive high-quality care, perform rounds, verify IDs, and maintain clean, safe environments.

Qualifications include CNA certification or enrollment, English proficiency, effective communication, and a compassionate approach to elder care.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a CNA program or hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
• Make beds and ensure clean, accessible water for residents.
