Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Red Bluff, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will support residents with daily activities, monitor wellbeing and follow established policies to ensure safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during CNA training.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled and accessible to residents.
• Carry out other duties as directed by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
