Job summary

Baybrooke Village Care and Rehab Center in McKinney, TX is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide personal care and assist the charge nurse on an 8-hour shift to support residents with daily activities.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Familiarity with CNA duties
• Strong observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents safely and comfortably
• Promote residents' independence
• Inform supervising nurse of residents' status at shift start and end
• Contribute to resident care plans with information on conditions/needs
• Assist in implementing care plans per policy
• Observe and document residents' conditions as required
• Ensure safe lifting/transfer procedures are followed
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed
• Maintain clean and functional equipment
• Assist with incidental housekeeping to keep a clean, hazard-free environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
