Job summary

Intersect Healthcare seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality care for residents in a long-term care setting. The role involves collaborating within the department, documenting care, and supporting the care plan with attentive, compassionate service.

Qualified candidates hold a Michigan CNA certification, are eligible to test within 4 months of hire, and ideally have 1 year of LTC or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan CNA certification and be eligible to test; certify within 4 months of hire.
• One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or health care is desired.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to verbally communicate with residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents per their care plans.
• Maintain residents' rights, dignity, and privacy in all interactions.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report promptly to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Document care provided in PCC per department policies.
